LIVE TO DREAM Challenge
A program designed to inspire young people to “do good” in their communities.
About the LIVE TO DREAM Challenge
The Wade’s World Foundation has developed the LIVE TO DREAM Challenge, an expansion of it's core LIVE TO DREAM program. The community focused program was developed to inspire young people to “do good” in their communities. In return for community service work, we provide an opportunity for participants to earn tickets to a Miami HEAT game during the NBA's regular season.
The LIVE TO DREAM Challenge is exclusive to residents in the South Florida communities of Miami-Dade, Broward, West Palm Beach and/or Monroe County.
How It Works
Individuals are asked to gather a team and create or participate in local community service projects designed to help others and your community. Then the community service effort must be documented, and at least 10 pictures of the team participants must be taken. At least one photo must include the team holding a sign with the following information a) “LIVE TO DREAM" title at the top; b) date of the service project; c) your team name and (d) what it is you’re doing that day.
Then the images must be submitted to the LIVE TO DREAM team. Upon submitting the images your team will be asked the following questions:
- Why did you choose this particular service project?
- How did your efforts affect the community?
- What did you gain from the experience?
In return, completing 3 service projects makes your team eligible for tickets to a Miami HEAT home game. Completing 6 service projects makes your group eligible for tickets to a Miami HEAT home game and a chance to watch pre-game shoot around. Completing 10 service projects makes your group eligible for tickets to a Miami HEAT home game, a chance to watch pre-game shoot around and a photo of your group on the HEAT court.
