This year in Chicago, gun violence has taken the lives of nearly 600 people. Over half of those have been young boys and girls who will never have the opportunity to grow, love, achieve and dream.

It’s time to change that narrative – not through fear – but by shining a light on youth in Chicago, empowering them to achieve their dreams. That’s why we support Dwyane Wade and Spotlight On — a new initiative that provides kids with hope for a better future.
